North Joffre to Cassiope to Spetch

Vantage Peak

I found a new favourite view on January 27th. My dad, my mum and I left our house Saturday morning for the duffy. At the trailhead parking lot for Cerise Creek we counted 15 cars. Our goal was to summit Vantage Peak. I had previously skied on the lower flank and my mum and dad had been to the top in the 90s. Cayoosh Mountain

On January 14th 2019, I was able to stand on top of a mountain that I have wanted to for a long time. Cayoosh mountain. Mt. Rohr

January 7th held the best skiing I’ve had since spring of 2017. In the days leading up to it my dad and I were looking at the weather forecasts and avalanche bulletins to try and plan a great day. The weather looked like it would be sunny and cold, but the avalanche ratings were considerable. Mt. Joffre

With only one day of school behind me, I missed the next one to climb. After doing the Spearhead the previous weekend, I was not looking forward to the coming semester.
